Two-component Putty Leak Stop for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems

External is a ready-to-use putty leak stop that seals refrigerant gas leaks up to 5 mm on rubber and metal components of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including those of vehicles.

It is the ideal solution for urgent repairs on systems that cannot be stopped (refrigerating rooms, medicine storage facilities, server and data centre air conditioning systems, etc.).

Quick and easy application for a quick and permanent repair: it can be easily mixed by using two fingers and, once applied, it permanently repairs the leak in 4-5 hours. Once dried, it can be easily sanded or removed.

Does EXTERNAL have to be applied on cleaned surfaces?
Before applying EXTERNAL it is necessary to thoroughly clean the surface around the leak granting perfect adherence.

Can EXTERNAL be removed?
Yes, if you need to remove the product, spray Thor on it, wait a few seconds, use a spanner or pliers with a little pressure that does not deform the pipe and rotate in one direction.

How long does it take to dry the product completely?
It takes about 24 hours.

Is it possible to reduce EXTERNAL drying time?
Yes, you can speed up the drying process by heating EXTERNAL for 5 min with a heat gun.
EXTERNAL will dry in 1 hour.

Which is the pressure resistance of a reparation made with EXTERNAL?
It depends on the size of the leak.
5 mm: resists up to 40 bar
2 mm: resists up to 50 bar
1 mm: resists up to 57 bar

Is it necessary to use PPE to manipulate EXTERNAL?
Yes, it is necessary to wear protective gloves.

Is EXTERNAL compatible with any lubricants?
EXTERNAL is compatible with all lubricants: POE, PAG, PAO, Mineral Oils, Alkylbenzene.

Can EXTERNAL be used in all air conditioning and refrigeration systems?
